What is it? This iPad app brings to life archaeological finds around Cambridge using data drawn from an existing display at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
The ‘Cambridge Cabinet’ at the museum contains nearly 160 artefacts unearthed in the Cambridge area. Its digital representation, Wall of Cambridge Archaeology plots the artefacts onto maps of the region so visitors can engage virtually with the objects.
MAA is keen to develop the prototype to a second phase period, with user testing in the gallery. Off the back of this initial prototype the group have located additional funding for development.
