What Happened?

The Story Behind Culture Hack (10-11am) kicks off with a talk on where Culture Hack came from, what’s happened so far and where it’s going in the future, leading to a group discussion on the possibilities of ‘being open’.

The How Hacking Your Organisation Can Make It Better (11am-12pm) workshop will involve fast paced idea creation, problem solving and thought-provoking conversations.

Hacking The Visitor Experience (1.30-2.30pm) will start with an overview of the recently published book “Museums at Play: Games, Interaction and Learning”, leading to a paper prototyping workshop developing game ideas for museums.

Self-facilitated Data Hacking drop-in (10am-3.00pm) for technologists throughout the day, working with cultural data APIs, turning ideas into first stage working prototypes.

Culture Hack at MCN/ ThatCamp was sponsored by Balboa Park Online Collaborative (BPOC) and the British Council.
